Belgian technology and engineering company CERATEC and German stacker crane and load handling specialist MIAS have agreed to intensify their cooperation in the after-sales sector.
Against the background of a strongly growing joint project volume in the Benelux market, MIAS will train CERATEC technicians on site on the MIAS devices with the manufacturer-specific features in the mechanical area. A win-win situation for both partners. CERATEC will become an important service partner for the jointly realized plants in Benelux and Northern France.
Ralph Neumann, technical sales manager After Sales at MIAS, comments: "Good technicians don't grow on trees, they have to be qualified. In this context, proximity to the end customer plays a decisive role for us, both in terms of shortening the response time and on the cost side, for lasting sustainable success on the market. Especially in view of the current travel restrictions, we see the partnership with CERATEC as a significant contribution to further increasing the plant availability of our installed base and thus strengthening our market position in Northwest Europe."
CERATEC technicians are trained in 2 stages: Level 1: "MIAS certified Maintenance Technician" and Level 2: "MIAS certified Service Technician".
"Think global - act local" - since MIAS has a strong focus on retrofit modernisation projects in addition to the new installations business, the cooperation also lays an essential foundation for local cooperation in this area.
We are delighted to have sealed this partnership with MIAS as it is fully aligned with our mission to deliver the best quality of service to our intralogistics and industrial customers. Hence, we are able to enrich our value proposition to support our customers to get the maximum efficiency from their assets. Renaud Vanrysselberghe, Head of After Sales
